Page designed his own symbol, that is "ZoSo". According to my thesis after a long search into the unpopular or rather less-travelled sites. The thesis bewrayed that Zoso symbolizes a near-death or Tantric sex experience to unify the worlds of the living and the dead, and thus to reveal the secrets of the universe. But, I wasn't much convinced with this answer, cause deep down I knew it was too irrelevant or rather beside the point. Later I found out that Z in Zoso was the symbol used by astrologers for Capricorn, Jimmy's sun sign. So, I loaded my self again and wandered off in the cyberspace to find "ZoSo". While exploring the cyberspace for months and months, I drifted from my bone of contention. I did come back to it. I sighted the symbol ZoSo in 2 engrossing books. First in a Jimmy page fan sub which had beconed the link to Le Triple Vocabulaire Infernal Manuel du Demonoman, by Frinellan (a pseudonym for Simon Blocquel). This was in french. The whole book isn't available. But some parts of it are. Later I found the symbol in Fred Gettings dictionary of occult symbols. Accodring to Fred Gettings dictionary, the "oSo" part is the alchemical sign for Mercury. "Z" is the sign of Capricon, Jimmy's sun sign. As per Crowley's book "Equinox", The two 0's with dots in "oSo"represent 6, and the middle S also stands for 6. This makes it 666, the number of the beast. Also as per Cardan's Ars Magica Arteficii(1557) "oSo" pertains to Saturn, and could also have related to the rings which gave Saturn the appearance of changing shape to antediluvian astronomers. As per the same book, single circle with a dot in the center is a well known symbol for the Sun. The S could represent Saturn revolving around the sun. I also learnt that ZoSo is also considered as Depiction of Cerberus(Cerberos, Kerberos), the three-headed dog that guards the entrance to Hades.
After all this, ZoSo still persists as a mindbugging mystery to me. I guess it'll always be until I find an answer that meets my conception about ZoSo.

Interesting post.. have I already said that before? Maybe cause most of your posts are interesting and I always learn something new from them!
I think you've put across the description of your search pretty well. Of course, I notice the presence of many words that are unknown to me. I feel belittled. Lol. I shall go look them up and then re-read this when I do!
Let me tell you one thing though - Writing well does not imply that you need to use big words all the time. A few here and there would do, but the real aim of writing is to communicate with words. Now, what sort of communication would it be if the reader came across a string of tough words and didn't understand anything? So, Akashu, use the words, but also ensure that the flow is easy enough to comprehend. Oui? =)
Oh, upload a picture of your ZoSo tattoo along with this post..!! =)
hey.. i jus ba mistake came across yur blogs.! ol i can say is am amazed! wat makes yu such a die-hard child of dis "boom shankar".. i m eagerly waitin an answer! hope yu get me back!
That's an interesting question. I gotta ask my self the question now!! It's all about the holy men and the Boom(Marijuana). It's been our long forgotten tradition. It has been mentioned through out our books. Lord Shiva planted marijuana on the seventh day of life on this planet. It has always been his favorite. The Naga Sadhus use marijuana for spiritual extacy.lol. Don't mistake me to a pious religionist. It's just my experiences with psychedelics and travel that provoke me to further learn or rather explore this topic.
And also, I have many other influences. like The Rastafarai Movement, The Hippie Sixties. LSD. Hehehehe. If you want a deeper answer or explanation with anything. Do not hesitate to ask me.

Initially, I was about to say the same thing devatha has already said..the bit about the big words. That is, until I got totally engrossed in the post and it was mildly shocking to have to return to the real world post-read. I had some trouble with some words too, when they forced me to pause, and I think that there might be a couple of spelling mistakes there too(?). But on the whole, the language fits the subject so well that I don't want to critique it!
Perfectly absorbing read, and methinks it's quite inspirational, the way you dug so hard and deep to piece together the mystery of ZoSo. Also, I'm a wee bit hopeful that there'll be more on this coming up soon...?

Hey thanks a lot for the comment Ajooni. :) I'll surly work on things you and Devathi mentioned.
Yeah there sure is more coming the ZoSo way. It's like a quest. I've discovered more about ZoSo. Now it's all getting philosophical. Confusion with mythologies. But need more to this. Once am done. I'll reveal the next thesis to ZoSo :)
I too have been searching for clues as to the meaning of Zoso, and ZoZo as well. Zozo seems to be the name of a spirit which scores of people from all over the world claim comes to them thru Ouija boards. Here is a link to a blog about Zozo the Ouija Spirit:
