A blinking cursor and the backspace key; at times is as limited as reality can get! The “beyond” many a times is way more than just that! Then, why not go beyond now than just stare back the blinking cursor, hoping not to reach out the backspace key? The void goes deeper and the story is stronger, you know it! Then why stop now? The “real”?
Reality for this very moment is a vast 3D platform projecting everything you can imagine and meets your idea of logic. Fantasy is dauntingly something that does not exist. But you want it to. Why? Because, your subconscious is this adventurous brat wanting more than what you can perceive! But then, what one perceives is never the same as what another does, irrespective of the similarities. So reality is an illusion where all our common perceptions meet, we all live in our very own dimensions. If our very existence is an illusion, what is stopping people from entertaining other illusions which seem beyond logic? Is it necessary for individuals to wait for someone to entertain another illusion in the form of book, a movie, a poem or even a song? Why wait for someone to spark an adventure when the beyond is within you? So engrossed are people at keeping their waking lives perfect that they forget the beauty of their dreams! Running a rat race only to show how much you can limit your thinking. Computers, modern scientific breakthroughs are all amazing factors of this limited illusion called reality. The term "reality", it ranks as one of the few words in the English language that should always be surrounded by quotation marks. "We are shaped by each other. We adjust not to the reality of the world, but to the reality of other thinkers.” quoted Joseph Chilton. All that we are is the result of what we have thought up to this point. You are what you think, literally. We have heard this from as far back as Descartes and beyond. We are the creators of our thoughts so in effect we are the creators of our own "realities". One of the hindrances of breaking on to the other side is your day-to-day belief system. Belief systems are basically mental structures that help us make some rational sense out of a seemingly irrational world. When our mind can put immense amount of energy to rationalize, then it is certainly an easy task to use this energy to recreate the world as you know it. Remember, energy goes where attention flows. The trick is to challenge the limited perceptions to create another dimension as you think of it! That, is the true alter nonexistent illusion your brain sums up and is reasonably referred to as Maya by ancient Hindu scholars and wanderers.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau mentioned that "Nature never deceives us; it is we that deceive ourselves." Then, the illusion, Maya, is it nothing more than deception? I would think otherwise. Nature does not deceive us cause nature is something we have set fixed ideas about. It’s us who deceive ourselves by limiting those ideas and drawing them back to logic. I think it is important for every subconscious mind to explore other illusions or Mayas while they are trying to make the best out of this mass hallucination called life on planet Earth. Where everything that exists is a teacher and everyone who learns is a wanderer. The journey of life is a quest to find the meaning of it. One will never find the meaning in places where other have already been looking, but in a place where only he can access and no one else. This is the reason why emotions are so personal and are a necessity of a healthy mind. What you are looking for often determines what you will find, the flow is all about how you get there.
Ivan Pavlov, a master of behavior modification, stated, "…perfect as the wing of a bird may be, it will never enable the bird to fly if unsupported by air." Reality can never be understood or excelled if unsupported by the freedom to create and entertain other illusions and by being the man who sold the world.
